The Record Viewer
The Record Viewer allows you to inspect and, if permitted, update the details of a record. It presents the information in a structured profile based on the Ontology, making it easier to review entity attributes, relationships, and supporting evidence in one place.
Record layout
| Element | Description |

| Sections | Fields are grouped into logical sections such as identifiers, attributes, or contact details. |
| Panels | Related information appears in dedicated panels, including Relationships, Attachments, Comments, and Tags. |
Available actions
From the Record Viewer you can perform several common investigative actions:
- Open linked records to explore related entities
- Add or edit relationships between records
- Attach supporting evidence to the record
- Review provenance to trace key facts back to source files or mapped data
Access levels
Your workspace access level determines what actions you can perform in the Record Viewer.

| Read Access | Review record details, open linked entities, and use the record as a starting point for Search, Link Charts, or AI Chat with context |
