The Record Viewer

The Record Viewer allows you to inspect and, if permitted, update the details of a record. It presents the information in a structured profile based on the Ontology, making it easier to review entity attributes, relationships, and supporting evidence in one place.

Record layout

ElementDescription
SectionsFields are grouped into logical sections such as identifiers, attributes, or contact details.
PanelsRelated information appears in dedicated panels, including Relationships, Attachments, Comments, and Tags.

Available actions

From the Record Viewer you can perform several common investigative actions:

  • Open linked records to explore related entities
  • Add or edit relationships between records
  • Attach supporting evidence to the record
  • Review provenance to trace key facts back to source files or mapped data

Access levels

Your workspace access level determines what actions you can perform in the Record Viewer.
